Through formula adjustment and surface treatment, PS film has derived multiple sub categories, covering different functional requirements:
Transparent light film (universal grade)
The most basic main category, high transparency and high gloss, is mainly used for food packaging box windows, stationery windows, and ordinary label materials, and is the most widely produced universal model.
Matte/Matte PS film
The surface presents a delicate matte effect, with low glare and a premium touch. It is commonly used for cosmetics, high-end food, and gift box packaging, and has a texture superior to ordinary light films.
Heat shrinkable PS film (OPS shrink film)
Directional regulation of thermal shrinkage rate, which can tightly adhere to the bottle body after heating, shrink smoothly without rebounding. It is commonly used for bottle body labeling of beverages and daily chemical products, and the pattern does not deform or burst after shrinkage.
Twisted special PS film
After twisting, it does not rebound and has good retention. It is a classic material for candy and chocolate twisting packaging. The packaging shape is firm and the transparent display effect is good, replacing the mainstream solution of traditional glass paper.
Heat sealed PS film
Single sided heat sealing coating solves the pain point of native PS film being unable to be heat sealed, and is compatible with automatic packaging machines for sealing scenarios such as food bags and envelope windows.
Functional modified PS film
Including special specifications such as anti-static, anti UV, color/white, etc., they are suitable for sub fields such as electronic packaging, outdoor scenes, and shading needs.
